Sun-Tech Solar Dome Bollards have an IK10 rating and are popular for their shatter-proof dome cover. IK10 rated protects are protected against 20 joules of impact, which is the equivalent of an 11 pound mass being dropped from 400mm above the product. Baseball bats and hammers have both failed at breaking through this dome. 
 
The dome shape is great for directing light inward towards the solar panel, preventing snow from sitting on top, and making the bollard easy to clean off.
 
The bollard’s die-cast housing and body boasts topside marine class paint which yields a high-performance coating for UV resistance, color retention, flexibility and durability.
